Roadways supplies a high-performance TrackForm surfacing solution ideal for national parks, farm tracks, equestrian grounds, golf clubs and cemeteries that need a durable hard surface or road base. This innovative material acts as a direct replacement for traditional Type 1 and loose road planings that require rework annually.

TrackForm is produced from recycled road planings, graded at either 0–20mm or 0–40mm depending on your specific project requirements. Blended with cement and ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS), the mixture binds together tightly once compacted and covered with a bitumen emulsion bond coat to form an incredibly stable, solid road surface or foundation.

It delivers up to a 40% cost reduction throughout its operational lifespan due to improved longevity and heavily reduced ongoing maintenance expenses.

Compliance:

Produced using recycled road planings (AWCCT) in accordance with Environment Agency reuse rules.

Laying and compaction methodology:

• The installation methodology is the same as for standard 6F5 or Type 1 aggregates.
• The material must be spread, levelled and fully compacted within two to three hours of delivery to site to prevent premature curing.
• Do not lay the material during heavy rain or in areas of standing water, as this will wash out the vital cement binder.
• The surface must be fully covered with a tack coat layer before curing and final surfacing take place.
