This material is produced entirely without heating, utilising 100% reclaimed and recycled asphalt planings combined with a specialised bitumen emulsion. By eliminating the traditional heating process, it delivers a massive 40% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to warm mix asphalt and helps contractors meet strict corporate Scope 3 emissions targets.

Cost-effectiveness:

It is also up to 20% more cost-effective, supporting lower-carbon green construction frameworks while drastically reducing the risks of temperature loss and project programme delays.

Technical specifications and compliance:

• Compliance: Produced in accordance with Clause 6 of CC 202 – Flexible Pavement Construction, within the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works.
• Departures: No departures from standard are required.
• Traffic loading: Suitable for structural layers on roads with design traffic levels up to 80 MSA (million standard axles).

• Collection or self-lay use must be agreed technically in advance.
• Collection from Woodside Depot, Polegate Road, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 3PG.
