SITE SUB-AGENT / SITE SUPERVISOR
We are looking for an experienced Highways Site Sub-Agent / Supervisor to join our growing team in Sussex. You’ll enjoy a varied leadership role overseeing highways, groundworks, civils, surfacing and road recycling projects covering a range of sites in Sussex or Southampton.
To succeed in this role you will have the following experience:
● Delivering high profile highways schemes
● Practical understanding of NEC contracts
● Manage the preparation of RAMS and other project documents
● Create and manage programmes to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts
● Control and monitor forecast costs
● Produce & monitor resource programmes, programme of works, site diaries, preparing site reports and variations
● Health, safety and environmental compliance requirements, ensuring processes and procedures are in place
● Ensuring correct permits and licences are in place
● Supervising and overseeing the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
● Liaising with the client, management and engineers
● Assessment and engagement of subcontractors
● Providing advice on methods, tools, equipment and materials to management and project managers
Desirable Qualifications:
● CSCS Black Card
● CSCS Gold Card
● SMSTS
● Supervisor NRSWA
● HNC/HND in civil engineering or similar
