Ten members of the Roadways team were presented with the Sussex Company of the Year award at a gala dinner held at the Grand Hotel in Brighton. Roadways were also finalists in the innovation and employer of the year categories.

Roadways have been based locally since 1966. Their owners, and around one third of their staff, live in Eastbourne. They will celebrate their 55th year in business in 2022!

Roadways (Hailsham Roadways) is a regional leader in highways construction and maintenance. Their in-house delivery capabilities include carriageway recycling/reconstruction, asphalt surfacing, civil engineering, traffic management, groundworks, low carbon and recycled road materials, cycleway and footway construction, town centre improvements.
